Good boots, bad laces
First I'd like to say I really like the size and look of the boots. Are the uppers a bit stiff? Sure, but they also seem durable as a result and I expect they will work in with wear, just tie a bit looser to start. Are they -20 rated, probably not, however with weather appropriate socks I'm sure they'd be fine. I've only worn them a few times, but my only real complaint is the left boot lace broke the 3rd time I wore the things, and as mentioned I wasn't exactly even trying to tighten them all that much. Anyway 3 stars simply because of the hassle and expense of having to go and buy new boot laces already...

Not true to size. Too big. Rubs against ankles. Feet feel cold and uncomfortable. Needs more padding

Booties
Great boot for the price. Boot is fairly stiff and might loosen up over time since it is real leather and the insoles could be softer but if you want top quality you need to open your wallet. I got what I paid for and I am very happy. Look good too.

Don’t buy - liners rip and are annoying
The liners in these boots detached from boot and ripped within a few weeks of use. Worst boots we have had for kids Aged 11 and 13. Store won’t accept returns.

Great boots
Awesome looking boots, only issue is they are ablittle big around the ankle. Im worried as the leather stretches the lace eyes will meet. But maybe they wont. Either way great boots. Fit a little bigger, could possibly try a size down from your sneaker size.

Uncomfortable, bad design...such a shame..
The quality of these boots are good, but the design is bad. The do not have removable inserts. The height of the boot is awkward. Around the top of the boot it rubs against my shin and is very stiff and uncomfortable. I tried to loosen the laces, and I also tried to not use the last hole, it helped a little but not enough, and the boots were loose then. I ended up returning them....Such a shame. My wife has similar Kamik boots that are very tall, still without the liner, but they look much better and she loves them. Not sure why they don't design these with that height...

Rubbed the top of my foot.
I had to return the boots. The right boot rubbed the inside top of my foot. The way the tongue was sewn left a large bump that caused the rubbing. There were scuff marks on the outside of the boots so I wonder if they had been returned previously.. The left boot felt fine and comfortable.

Decent duck boot
Toe box and vamp on the cramped side. Would fit tight for those with wide and/or larger volume feet. Lining is mostly cosmetic, may provide some comfort between the upper leather and lower rubber seam but certainly not -20c rated. Leather uppers are not full grain, with accompanying tag labelled as "genuine leather". Not supple either and would require break in. Lowers look to be good quality with clean stitches but its "waterproofness" is untested thus far. Nice looking duck boot could be a good buy at sale price - I'd look elsewhere at MSRP. Less comfortable than my LL Bean duck boots but you don't buy these for complete comfort. If the leather uppers end up breaking in I'd move the rating up to 3.5 maybe 4.
