Clarks Women's Westlynn Bella Loafer

In my experience, Clarks run small and these were no exception. So I ordered up a size in the wide. (They also run narrow in this style.) The width was perfect (I do not have wide feet) but I still felt they were too short, my toes hitting up against the front of the shoe, even up 1/2 size. It's too bad because they are very nice looking loafers (I ordered the black suede). And I REALLY appreciate that Clarks still makes shoes in leather. What has happened to all of the other manufacturers? Unfortunately, will be returning. I'm not going to try to go up another 1/2 size as I'm sure my foot will slip out in the back with that.

Just what I was looking for! I have been searching for a classic loafer, but they are hard to find in a wide width. This loafer is perfect! It has a cushioned footbed and has just the look and fit I wanted. I saw this exact shoe on the Clarks website but there aren’t any stores in my state. I would have to order them online, waited for them to arrive and keep my fingers crossed that they fit. If not, I would have to return them and go through the process all over again. I want to be able to try shoes on to assure a good fit. Also, this shoe was also less expensive at DSW. This was a great find for me! Thanks DSW for carrying a larger selection of Wide Width shoes!

Disappointed in this shoe. I don’t buy synthetic materials for footwear and I checked the product description before buying because I know a lot of patent is fake. The description here says either leather or suede. The patent version is man made, not happy about that. They are fairly comfortable when I tried them on, but they do have that fake material “squeak” to them. That’s one of the things that made me check the inside of the shoe to see if it was actually made of real patent. Fake patent, even better quality fake, tends to crack over time and it doesn’t breathe. Will be returning. Too bad because they are cute.

I bought 6.5W. First thoughts: the shoe feels more medium width, it’s very cute and the insole is very comfy. I decided to wear them for a day and the shoe had problems. The collar of the shoe would rub and hit under my ankle bone which was very uncomfortable. But the worst part was my right foot, which is slightly wider than my left. The initial fit was snug, but I thought these shoes could be broken into. After 3 hours of wear, I began to feel bunion pain in my right foot. I never had this issue with other shoes, so this shoe gets 1 out of 5 stars because it’s too narrow to be “wide.”

Just bought these and they're more comfortable than most other loafers I tried on at multiple places. I was looking for a substantial loafer but without the really chunky Doc Marten type bottoms. These are more than a flat but less than a combat-boot bottom, and they have the usual great Clarks interior sole support. I did go one half-size up from my usual 7 to 7.5. These do run a little narrow but don't pinch my toes, just the bridge of my foot where the tongue opening of the shoe is. Even with the little elastic relief pieces on either side of the tongue, this part is tight on my bare foot. I have a shoe stretcher that I might try to gently stretch out that part. Otherwise I expect these to loosen up all over with time.

Clarks have long been my “go to” shoe from comfort and durability and these loafers keeps that tradition. I have found that typically, after wearing sandals all summer, that a closed toe shoe will hurt my big toe but these did not hurt! I usually wear an 8 or 8 1/2 so being closed toe, I ordered the 8 1/2. The fit was perfect, not too tight or too loose with just enough room for wearing a loafer sock without stretching out the shoe. They look very stylish with the lug sole look and the Clark comfort and support. I know I will get a lot of wear out of them.
