The Original Muck Boot Company Women's Arctic Sport II Waterproof Bootie

I’ve worn Mucks for over 16 years. bought my first pair in Vermont and as a birder, I use them often in wet seasons and conditions in the field. But this year I noticed my old boots were not as comfortable as they had always been on longer bird walks, so I replaced them. my new boots are very different but super comfortable. I was birding on a beach near our home in California when I didn’t see an incoming wave and got swamped. Cold! … but amazing how the cold water was wicked away and my socks worked well to keep my feet warm so i could continue enjoying the beach, the birds, and the long walk back home.

I've been wearing high and mid-rise muck boots at my job (horse barn manager) for about 3 years now and they have helped save my knee from the heavy walking I do. They allow for my feet to swell during the day without causing back pressure, and are sooo comfortable. Unfortunately I've tried two different low-rise/slip-on boots styles and cannot get the same comfort. Within an hour of working I've got pressure point rubs. My feet don't stay solid in the bed, and slide forward causing pressure on my toes. This makes me sad, because I really really wanted a less clunky, lighter option in muck boot. I guess I will go back to the mid-rise artic to get the comfort I need to work in. I do appreciate and love all the other "muck" features and will continue to try and find an ankle boot that will be an option.

My wife and I both purchased the mid-calf Arctic boot. Moving from south central Florida to north central Michigan such foot wear would be and are essential. Boots worked great for us when temps hit freezing down to -30. My wife was experiencing a struggle to remove the mid-calf. Bought her the ankle version and she is grateful with no issues on or off. BTW, the young lady we corresponded with in customer was outstanding.

So happy with this purchase. I needed something to slip on this winter to walk the dogs, etc and needed them to be comfy enough to walk a few miles at a time. These are perfect. Great fit, really cushy innersoles, very warm. I was actually surprised by how comfortable they are to walk in. I have taller Arctic boots and have owned other Muck styles. These low Arctic boots are just so versatile.

Great boot - comfortable and keep my feet warm. I've worn muck boots for years, around the yard and in agricultural fields. I have the original ankle and was excited to see the arctic version. I can't really tell apart by the weight and no obvious "lining" for warmth, but they definitely keep my feet warm. And like my original low muckster boots and ankle boots, they are so comfortable!

LOVE these boots! Purchased to replace a pair of ankle Muck boots that I have had for years that had very little tread left. My new boots do not disappoint! They have good traction for snow shoveling, field walking in all conditions and have this 60+ year old woman feeling much safer on icy surfaces like our driveway in these Northeast winters! They also keep my feet dry and warm!

The boot is great, warm, dry and comfortable. Perfect for my wonky feet with bunions and high arches. However, my disappointment with the customer service for Muck has almost erased all my love for the boot. I purchased two pairs of boots - a pair for my friend. We needed to exchange the boots and it took 3 phone calls all over 45 minutes with no answer two emails and then we had to resort to online shaming to get a response from customer service. Not a good representation of the quality of the boot. What is up with Muck, every other exchange I needed to do this shopping season was handled in less than a minute online. Or, if I needed a call back from a live person, I was given the old technology option of leaving my name and number to schedule a call. Muck doesn't even posses this technology. It goes to show that CARE is the most important thing! As of now, I will research and buy different boots when the need arises again.

I received these wonderful boots for Christmas. Unfortunately tbey are so large I walk out of them ! I have been a woman’s size 8 shoe for 40 years and these fit like a man size 8! So disappointing as I have wanted these boots for years. Wish I could return them but Santa threw away the box!
