Not real leather as stated but nice office loafers

Not real leather, but nice loafers for the office! This is my 2nd pair of shoes I've purchased from The Shoe Company in 6 months that states they are real leather - and they have most definitely been fake leather! See photos for reference - "man made". Disappointing that this keeps happening. I don't think they are comfy enough to walk around a lot in especially while carrying an office bag.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice but Narrow

Decent quality, could see how they might be comfortable for someone with narrow feet, but this is not a standard M shoe width. I have flat feet, but not wide enough to require W sizing. My standard shoe size is 10M with no problems. However, these are tight enough in the sides & top of the toe area to be uncomfortable after a few minutes of wear. It's that "They fit, but I wouldn't want to walk a block in them" type of narrow. Maybe ordering a half size up would help? Bummed because it's a good-looking shoe. Why would they make a loafer intended for comfort unusually narrow? Have to return them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

I bought these a couple weeks ago. I like the fit, like how comfortable they are BUT I wore them with light pink socks with my white jeans. This is the first time I wore them. I got on a plane to fly to Florida. The weather was dry and sunny. But these shoes turned my socks a reddish brown all around the inside of the leather edge around my ankle. I tested them again the next day with a pair of white socks. Same thing and now stained the bottom of my socks. This color will not come out at all even after hand scrubbing my socks. I’m home now and will probably return them.

No, I do not recommend this product.

looked cheaper than the price I paid

I returned the shoes because they were too long on my foot. The width was true to size, and probably the size was too? I just need a 1/2 size shoe instead of the size I ordered. Meanwhile, I was a little disappointed that for the price they were, they actually looked cheap. The material was very thin and flimsy and even had some fraying going on around the edge of the upper portion. I will not be looking to order this in that 1/2 size smaller.

No, I do not recommend this product.

Nice transitional shoe (B.O.C. Jana)

Was searching for a "go to" loafer and this is the one. Looks great with jeans and casual pants with socks or without. I like the profile of the defined heel opposed to a wedge type sole. A good cross between a driving moc and a traditional loafer. I picked the tan color which is a little orange-ish but turns out to be very neutral. It is nice quality leather. This will be my intervention from flip flops to boots. : )

Yes, I recommend this product.

Poor quality—Stitching failure

Love the fit as I have a dozen or so BORN shoes and took a chance on these. I have had the same experience as others. Stitching coming apart after just having them a month. Obviously not wearing them every day so that’s concerning. I rarely if ever return anything but will certainly stop by DSW. Inconvenient as I live in a rural area. I will say they were very comfortable.

Too soft- they stretched out!

I was so disappointed with these shoes. Although the look was what I wanted and the shoe feels comfortable, they slide on my feet and feel as if they have stretched right after I wore them for the first time. I first wore them with "footies" and then tried socks and they still feel too large- and I bought the size I always wear. I will be returning them.

Adequate but not great

These are adequate, but not as comfy as I had hoped. Because they are not real leather, they will not conform to the foot. The arch support is minimal. I will keep them because I was desperate to find a pair of casual shoes to wear with jeans. I do wish they came in a 10-1/2, but so many brands jump from a size 10 right to an 11.
