Timberland Women's Linden Woods Waterproof Boot

Very comfortable, clasic look! My wife loves it. Fits perfectly.

Knowing these are Timberlands, I assumed they would be extremely comfortable. The moment I put these on, my expectations were SURPASSED. These will be great to walk in, and are insulated well, but still seem breathable (I struggle with keeping my feet warm, and sometimes with keeping them sweat-free). They feel very sturdy but aren't too heavy. Waterproof is a must for me and Timberland does a great job at effectively making their products live up to that term. I got these are super versatile boots in black. They can even be dressed up with sweater tights and a dress or skirt, and I'm looking forward to getting a LOT of use out of them.

Bought this for a trip to WA, and was very pleasantly surprised with how comfortable, multi-purpose, waterproof and stable it was. I did a LOT of hiking in these (through snow, mud, steep inclines, etc...), and the only thing I would say is that they run a bit large. I’m a women’s 9 1/2 with a wide toe box, and purchased the 9 1/2 medium. I was fine until I hiked up a very steep mountain, and got some pretty bad blisters on the back of my heels because the boot was just a little too roomy (I was wearing thick socks as well). Next time, I might try getting the 9 wide, or wearing double socks. Overall, an awesome boot that was perfect for everything outdoorsy.

I purchased these boots for my daughter. She is a student and will need to go to a classroom outside campus in the rain, snow, etc., and needed to have something comfortable and waterproof to wear. She is NOT easy to shop for. Very picky. Once she tried these on, they were a must have. No complaints. Not a one. She has loved these boots since the first second she put them on in the store. She, at first, said she would only wear them when the weather was bad, but now she wears them almost daily because they are that comfortable. She is a big fan. I am thinking about purchasing a pair of my own.

I’ve been wanting these boots for some time now because they are an urban classic. I finally got them and the only thing I can say is I wish I would’ve gotten them sooner. I initially ordered them in the tan and the black but I returned the black pair because they look completely bland next to the tan ones. They tan ones just POP! And they are surprisingly versatile when coordinating with every color in my wardrobe. They are comfy & super cute w/ skinny jeans, boyfriend jeans, & leggings. I’m a 10, but I ordered a size 9.5 because the 10 was too loose on my feet. Order yours today!!!

Let me start by saying DSW delivered these earlier than the expected which was a pleasant surprise! I had pre-planned an outfit around these shoes and they were even better than I initially thought they'd be. I have always heard great things about Timberland boots; however, I just assumed the people saying those things were brand snobs.... I was wrong! These boots are SO comfortable. They're not tight on my toes like I feared they would be. They look super cute with leggings or skinny jeans and a oversized sweater or flannel! These are the perfect accessory for fall & winter!

After ordering, trying on, and sending back two other hiking boots that didn’t work for me I decided to spend a bit more and give these a try and I’m so glad that I did! These are exactly what I was looking for in a good hiking boot and they look great too! I haven’t worn them on an actual hike yet just out and about every day to break them in nicely but I can tell they will work out perfect. Fort sizing, I’m usually between a 7 and 7.5 but chose the smaller size which was perfect. I’ll even be able to wear thicker socks when it gets cold so i would say they do run a tad big.

I had excellent help picking out this boot; she advised going up a size from 6.5 to 7, which was definitely a better fit even though I did not have socks on at the store. She advised walking around in them with socks at home before road testing them. This was good advice; with socks, I found the fit over the top of the arches on my larger foot (the right side, which is the side they keep in the back to prevent theft) was too tight to bear. Sad to return them, the only real trail worthy boot I found before my hiking vacation.
