Nothing is perfect

After I've tried many shoes, 8 fell in love with shoes from the first look, and after trying it, I found that it is very comfortable. After I bought it I was very happy wearing it every day in my morning walks till last weak when it snowed heavily. Sadly i discovered that some of the seams leaks water when i step in not-too-deep snow, I was very disappointed, but when I visited the skechers website I discovered that water repelent feature is not water proof, my bad...
I guess I had plans for this pair of shoes to go hiking near the water creeks together, but not anymore.

So, apparently, all I needed to fix my life was a solid pair of hiking boots. Enter the Men’s Relement Daggett Relaxed Fit Hiking Boot. Suddenly, hiking is a breeze. No more blisters, no more feet that feel like they've been hit by a truck. These boots are like a foot spa wrapped in rugged, outdoor magic.
They've got traction so good, I could probably walk up a wall (not that I'm trying). Comfort? Let’s just say my feet are living their best life, while I pretend I'm some kind of outdoor enthusiast.
Bottom line: these boots have changed my hiking game—and possibly my entire outlook on life. Now if only they could help with my questionable life choices.

Poor quality boot from a big brand

I bought these boots from Skechers thinking it will be as comfortable as their shoes I regularly wear. Not the case with these boots. They have minimal cushion on the sole with no contour for the foot. They are rated at water resistant but your feet get wet with minimal exposure to snow and water. I had to put some thick doctor soles in them just to be somewhat comfortable to walk around in but they are no where close to the comfort of their shoes.

Okay hiker - requires break in

I purchased as a replacement for same model boot but grey this time. Same size. For some reason, these pinch feet after about 1/2 KM walk. Right at the bend point of the shoe behind the toes. Odd as my old pair did not have that issue. Perhaps they just need a break in period. I don’t recall that with previous pair.

Horrible

I bought a pair of these for myself 9.5 and my husband 14 we wore them hiking and orher then the ankle support they are so uncomfortable. I own alot of sketchers and these are by far the worst. My husband said his Red Wing Work boots are more comfortable. If i didnt toss the boxes I would return them.

Bought them back in December. Time for a new pair as my feet are starting to feel sore lately. When they were new the eyelets where the shoe strings go were able to be felt on top of foot for a short period. After breaking them in for a day it went away as the leather had more play. I will say the sizing is off I'm a 12 in some shoes and a 13 in more narrow shoes. These fit more like a size up wich worked out for me as I added another insole for more comfort.

Not Comfortable At All!

First off, the DSW experience was excellent, from purchase to delivery (which was a few days earlier than normal)! However, I bought these hikers thinking that they would be comfortable. Quite to the contrary, these boots cut into both of my pinky (little) toes, even when I'm trying to walk lightly. It's really bad and definitely what I've come to expect from the Skechers brand. This style NEEDS to be redesigned or thrown out altogether!

Comfortable boots, but extremely poor quality. The second time I put the boots on the pull strap on the back snapped off one side, leaving an awkward strap dangling into the mud and flicking it up on the back of my pant leg the entire hike. If I could grade them on comfort alone, it could be a 4 or 5, but to have them falling apart after very little use makes this a 1, only because 0 is not an option. Do not waste your money here.
