Sakroots Metro Tote Eco Twill Bag

Its beautiful and of lovely patterns. It's durable but I give this a 4 stars instead of 5 because the texture reminds me somewhat of a diaper bag. Like I was expecting a more harder and raised up material. Other than that I gotten compliments on how cute it is. I just feel like I was expecting something different. I feel for returning customers, cause I looked up my old wallet which is discontinue and its label as eco twill. That this material needs a different classification. Other than that there's a lot of aesthetic things that's valuable, hold my items and I love that the straps are long enough that I don't have to put my bag down to open and grab things.

I was fortunate enough to get this limited release Metro Tote in the gorgeous wildflower design and I have used it at every opportunity - at least once a week. It’s super easy to toss my essentials in it and hit the road for a day of shopping. The size makes it great for carrying small purchases in it, but it’s not so large that it feels bulky. The ease of use is great. It lends itself to being a bag that is suited for many settings, which makes it a favorite of mine. I’m kicking myself for not buying the beautiful matching sandals, but I have my fingers crossed they’ll restock them soon in my size.

Metro Tote: Desert Woven 6/11/2023 The size was a little deceiving to me. I noted the length to be 16" but that turned out to be just the top of the tote. The bottom of the tote is actually 12". So it isn't very large. I like the height because it will fit under the seat in front of me on the plane. Just wish it was longer. The straps are the perfect length to be able to put the tote on my shoulder. When I carry the tote hanging from my hand at my side, it doesn't touch the ground (I'm 5'5"). Love the many pockets, love that it zips closed on top!!! Quality is excellent. Love the color and sustainable materials. I'm using it as a purse. I'm going to try it as a tote on my next flight.

I was looking to add a new bag to my my much loved collection of well used Sakroots Medium Satchels. I purchased a Metro Tote from an online retailer. I was disappointed to discover that even though the discontinued Medium Satchel and the current Metro Tote look similar in size and design, the Metro Tote is missing some features of the older version. Most importantly, the old Medium Satchel had reinforced adjustable handles. The handles on the Metro Tote are not adjustable or reinforced. Also, the hardware is not as nice as it was on the old Medium Satchels. I will not be using my new Metro Tote, even though I like the new color way and pattern. It is uncomfortable to carry because I cannot adjust the handles.

I purchased the sea turtle bag and the print is adorable! Love the turtle accent charm and the tassels that are attached to the outside. The bag is just the right size for me and fits my wallet, a fair size makeup pouch, and a water bottle on the inside. I like that it has 2 pockets on the inside and 2 on the outside, plus a zipper pocket inside and outside. I am pretty happy with the straps, but wish they were a tiny bit shorter and thicker. I also wish the fabric was a bit sturdier, it’s a little too floppy. Overall, I’m very happy with it.

I have several metro totes because the patterns are so fun and the bags hold a decent amount -- water bottle, book or two, wallet, phone, sanitzer, gum etc. The exterior slip pocket is great in the airport for when you need that quick access to your boarding pass, and the back pocket is a secure place to stow your ID. These are also useful on road trips, at craft fairs, and at the beach (though sand will get stuck in the creases). The ecotwill allows for a bright and eye-catching pattern. Overall, I love these bags!

This is a beautiful bag. The size is absolutely perfect for my needs and I purchased it in a coral and Olive green floral and it's absolutely stunning. The ease of getting in and out of the bag is excellent it has a wonderful full zipper and The pockets on the outside are so handy for things I use daily tissue's phone keys it's just really a Great bag. I really love that it has sturdy leather handles built but the wax cotton is so light white I can put a lot of things in that purse and not feel way down.

Love the colors, the size, the various compartments. This bag is very well made. I've used it twice and received compliments each time. The zippered main compartment makes it ideal for shopping. Outside zipper pocket is great for keys while outside magnetic close pocket is great for sunglasses and accessories you want to easily access. The straps are long enough to comfortably wear on the shoulder but not too long to carry in my hand. Will get another in a different color pallette...just a great bag.
