Steve Madden Women's Jones Bootie

I order the Jones bootie online and they arrived quite fast in just couple of days, they look very cute with many outfits , I like that they're made from real leather at least outside of the boot but I don't like the inside of it which is finished with that fake slippery leather like look but plastic feel polyester because of that feet are sliding in them with every step even with nice cotton socks and also because of that fake non breathable lining material feet can sweat easily a lot so basically the lining is main problem and downside of this boots everything else is nice and as expected the front zipper is fun and very convenient,over all this boots are good duplicates for The Row front zip boots and at the fraction of the price and when on sale like I got them they are a steal even if they are not perfect because of the lining they are keep of me . I also would like to mention that they will probably work best for people with narrow feet as they are very fitted and run half size on the smaller side and they're not winter boots but more like a fall /spring kind at least for me in Ontario, Canada.

The size guide is extremely inaccurate. Ordered a 12 based on the length of my foot in inches, but the shoe is entirely too big. I could've sized down. Other shoes of the same size fit perfectly, but these seem to run large. I really love Steve Madden but the sizing for those of us with bigger feet is very inconsistent, and due to the fact that they rarely carry larger sizes in store it makes it impossible to try the shoe on before purchasing.

Similar to another reviewer, I also tried the Flattered Alma boots but found them to be too tight around my ankles (which are small-average size). I thought I’d try these and am so happy I did! They are comfortable and very much like the sought after (but $$$) Row boots. They are a bit narrow in the toe box which may be an issue if you have a wider foot. I got a size 7, which is what I typically wear in boots and sneakers.

The style is beautiful and different. It’s a little stiff and very small. I wear size 7. 5 and I had to exchange for a size 8. 5. The zipper gets stuck which is a bit annoying. Is a little bit tight on the ankle area. I loved because the style is amazing. It just should be more comfortable, light weight and if they working on those adjustments I mentioned, that boot s will me rated as prefect!

I’m in love with these boots. I wore them to a party. I love that they’re nice enough to wear to a dressy event but casual enough to wear on a regular day. They’re also pretty comfortable and easy to walk in! I bought them a little big so I can put insoles in them. I definitely recommend doing that. Also I love that they’re real leather. I prefer real leather because it lasts longer.

I’m not sure if it was just the pair I received, but after only one day of wear, the outer leather started cracking and peeling, leaving flakes behind. The ankle area is a little stiff, but not uncomfortably so. I also have these in the brown suede and they’ve been much better so far. A replacement pair is on the way, and I’m hoping it doesn’t have the same issue.

These boots are super stylish and very comfortable. Love that I can wear them with leggings or under wide leg jeans. Front zipper makes them super easy to put on and take off. A bit snug around my leg when the zipper is all the way up but Ive worn them with the zipper down a bit and it stays put so thats a bonus!
