Cute but stiff & not very wide width

These boots were cute. As someone with muscular calves and short legs, I appreciate that the shaft of these boots don't go up TOO high (they're not low mind you, but they just cover my ankle bones so it doesn't constantly irritate them, but they're not so high that they give the illusion of cankles or rub into my calves because the circumference basically matches where my calves start).
They look classic and cute yet with a modern twist with the subtle gold detailing. HOWEVER. The material is so stiff, and for a wide width shoe, it's not very wide. I don't have the widest feet ever by any means and these still felt just a smidge tight.

Great boot for the season!

Great boot for the season! I have always worn a 6.5 wide in pretty much every shoe I have ever worn and loved that these came in wide. However, after wearing them around for a couple of days, I may suggest go up half a size. They seem to be great width, but short in the length.

Comfortable for the first couple hours, but not for all day wear. Boots show scuffs and minor marks very easy. Fit true to size. Heel feels a little unstable at times, but no real issues. Further wear will determine how well they hold up, but I don't expect the metal on the heel to stay colored for long as it is already starting to fade. Wouldn't have gotten them if they weren't on sale. Overall, adorable but imperfect.
