the joker!

what can I say, ? how about I am a male that "wears" women's product of ked's canvas original's after the men's was discontinued & my wife tells me to wear women's in public, white, navy, stone whatever! after braveness., I am wearing a pair of women's original's every weekend!!! love the women shoe more than the men's shoe now! I feel in the ortholite soul is more comfortable and more softer in the sides of the shoe!!!! 4 laces is better than 5, & this shoe is so much softer!!!!!!!! product is awesome, & everyone, "male or female" should try this shoe on!!!! u will not be disappointed!! this company of this shoe will make it happen!!!!!!!!

Need a little “wide” adjustment.

I have always loved Keds... I’m a tried and true “white tenny” girl, and have been my whole life.
But my problem is with the “wide” designation. I’m 55 years young and have been blessed with my grandmothers bunions.
So... when I order Wide shoes it’s because I need more room in the toe box and the a wider sole. When my Keds arrived I realized your wide translated to a wide opening for the ankle. I’m not overweight... I simply need a wider shoe for the ball area of my foot.
So... I will keep trying. I’m hoping the slipons fit better when they come back in stock and that you can create a wide shoe for those of us who are “sole impaired” lol.

Beautiful Shoe, Beautiful Versatility

I needed something that I could wear to work and then keep on comfortably to happy hours, while still being fashionable and maintaining the feeling in my feet. These shoes did just that, the bright white add a preppy kick and twist to any vintage dress, boyfriend jean or even loungewear (they're becoming a weekend staple now too) and pull the outfit together. I'd highly recommend them, but also would recommend going up a half size as I am almost religiously a 7.5 and my toes and heels have become well versed in the feel of this shoe. Would definitely stretch yourself to the next half size to avoid buying band-aids during the break-in week.
Yes, I recommend this product.

I've worn these particular Keds for over 40 years...HOWEVER, the pairs I received recently seem to have less padding in the sole than those of the past. I feel the cold of the pavement coming thru, and objects in the path are felt more painfully.
These shoes are wonderfully light in weight having no bulky look or feel; and they're to the size I've worn every year. My son used to say, "It must be spring. Mom's just bought her Keds". :)
I must question whether or not I'll continue buying them. Aging feet need more sole padding; but I HAVE enjoyed them for many years, and hate the thought of giving up on a shoe that works with both skirts and pants.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Nice Shoes

This is only the 2nd pair of Keds I have needed to buy in many years because the first pair has lasted so long, so Keds has cornered the market on durability in my opinion. Cheaper sneakers wear out after only a few months. The new Keds I just received seem a little narrow, but it could be that my feet have flattened out a bit with age (I heard that happens), so next time I'm planning to order wide to accommodate the change in my feet. Also, these Keds are so bright white that I'm almost afraid to wear them because I don't want them to get dirty. Maybe I'll try a color next time. No matter what, Keds are tops sneakers and totally worth the price.
Yes, I recommend this product.

Where did the comfort go?

I have worn Keds since I was a child and have had more pairs than I can count. I am now 35 and need shoes with good arch support and comfort, since I spend a lot of time running around with my kids. My last pair of Keds was several years old and still very comfortable, but full of holes, so I decided to replace them. I couldn't find Keds in any local stores, so I ordered them online - I even ordered 2 pair. My last pair had a cute patterned lining and were so comfortable - this pair has absolutely no lining. They are stiff and scratchy and the heel rubs. I'm so disappointed. I need to find a new brand that offers the comfort I am seeking.
No, I do not recommend this product.

Loosing foot padding.

The new canvas is very light weight and the shoe requires no break in and the heel doesn’t dig in anymore. Love that fact. But over the years the foot padding has decreased and the shoe is hard on the feet. The dream foam and version before that felt way more comfortable than today’s version.
Please add more padding and some more arch support and then this shoe would be perfect!! I get you need profits, but it’s becoming too cheap to loose the padding. Please don’t narrow up the toe box. Also can you offer this classic shoe in women’s size 14.5 wide…please?!? Please give us long time customers a response to this vs saying you will pass it along.

Great Shoes, but Slightly Narrow
Libby

I have wide feet, but only slightly so I can fit into normal width shoes from various stores comfortably. I chose normal width Keds and I could squeeze my feet into them, but I could tell that they were too narrow and wouldn't be comfortable long-term and would stress the shoes so that they would wear out faster. I repurchased these in wide width and they fit well.
So yes, if you have wide feet, even slightly so, make sure you get wide. It would be nice if they included measurements for width though, because I was looking for them.
I bought these for Lindy Hop and with so many dancers using Keds, I'm sure these work well for me too.
