Safe, warm winter boot

These boots have a thick sole with good tread. They are insulated and warm.
The ankle is not form fitting. I had to pull the laces tight around the ankle to prevent the boots from flopping when I walk.
At the same time, even without tightening the laces, the ankle portion of the boots is kind of stiff.
The boots are comfortable enough. They're not super cushy but they're not uncomfortable, either.
The sides are contoured in such a way that I feel it they're giving me arch support.
The fit runs small. I normally take between a ladies' 8.5 and 9. I ordered these boots online in a size 9.. They were on the snug side. I went in store to exchange them, where thankfully, they had a size 10 in stock. The 10s fit me well, with room for a thick sock.
These boots won't win any fashion awards, but they'll keep me warm and dry.

Stylish and keeps my feet warm and dry

Oh these are great!! There stylish, I love that the laces don’t need to be tied to ensure the boots stay on. I got them on sale which makes them even better and they look much better in person than online.
