Birkenstock Women's Arizona EVA Slide Sandal

The footbed of the sandal stains very easily. Nothing takes the marks out. Very disappointed!

First off, I do not like that DSW posts American sizes as I have many pairs of Birkenstock’s. I realize it’s different for everyone but my normal shoe size is an 8.5 but in Birks I wear a 38 EU which translates to a 7. If you haven’t had them before I suggest trying them on in person first to get the best fit. Second, these give me the same support as the normal Birks but they are much more lightweight obviously because they’re waterproof & not made of the same materials that normal Birks are. I bought these for wearing most days as I don’t want to ruin my other birkenstocks. So happy with this purchase! Birkenstock’s are the absolute best, most comfortable sandle.

When I ordered these I wasn’t really sure what to expect. When they arrived I was blown away. They for one are probably the most comfortable shoe I have put on in awhile. The shoe is so light it practically weighs nothing. The material it is made from (which I expected to be plastic and very hard) was so soft and really felt like some type of leather to me. I thought they made a mistake and sent me real Leather Birkenstock’s. They look great on the foot. Get a nice pedicure throw these on and expect to have a very stylish and comfy day of walking. I actually originally bought them in black, but came back on to buy them in few other colors I liked them that much. So will you.

Not comfy at first but then broke them in and their divine. I wear an 8.5 in all shoes except Nike tennis shoes and I wear a 9 in those. I got an 8 in these and they fit perfectly with no extra room at the toe (which that’s how I like my sandals to fit)... I love them! So they do run a tad big since I typically wear an 8.5, but not a ton big! They’ll be perfect for the water! And the black will match all the things!!! Unless you see a pair of birks with an (M) out from the size, then their narrow. These, are the narrow ones! My foot is skinny but average skinny. I think these would fit the average foot width.

I purchased the multi metallic, they are cute and needed to adjust the straps to as tight as possible so that they were not too big. I purchased the 8/8.5 and normally wear an 8. I find Birkenstocks clunky on my feet, but I see so many people wearing them and wanted to give them a try to run around town/city streets during warm weather. They seem comfortable enough, though I haven’t really given them a go yet, was considering even returning them. I used my rewards points, perks and remaining balance on a gift card to buy them ... I gotta say a $54.95 sticker price is kinda steep for a pretty flimsy sandal. If I keep them they better hold up for the summer at that price!

These appeared sturdy. I wear a size 7.5/8 and ordered the 38, 7/7.5. They were a bit bulky and I did not like the look. It was the last one available and when it arrived I received one shoe that was the proper size and the other one was sized 41! So even if I had liked them I would not have been able to keep them. The reason for the 4 stars is because of the wrong shoe size being sent. Someone did not open the box prior to sending them and that is not acceptable. However I returned the shoes to my local store without issue. The shoe itself was probably alright, just not my style.

I wore the shoes twice, and then I noticed some discolouration of the sole. There were small pink spots, which apparently is caused by oxidization and won’t come off. Seems to be a recurrent problem after I researched it.

I developed plantar fasciitis after the first 6 months of Covid-19’s stay at home order because I was barefoot 90% of the time. I got these for two reasons: 1. Arch support to help correct it and 2. They are plastic. What I love about the plastic vs the cork is I can bring these into the shower and wash them once a week since I wear them 24/7 since I am still work from home. They have helped my feet tremendously. The only negative is I have had to replace them after a year. The bottoms at the ball of my foot is completely worn through. Hence the 4 instead of 5 star.
