[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I absolutely love this shoe! Brooks has done it again with their Women’s Launch 11 running shoe. The design is feminine yet subtle, girly but not obnoxious. I felt incredibly light on my feet wearing these and could definitely have them on all day. The lightness of this footwear makes running a pleasant experience. There’s great breathability in this material and an almost buoyant feel! I truly feel bouncy and agile while wearing them. The small change I would make is that the toe end has significantly less support and for someone who may tend to put more weight on their toes while walking or running, I feel this aspect could be problematic.

Great feel , not so great style

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my first pair of Brooks shoes and I was so excited to try them. I have to start off by saying that shoes definitely run a little small. I ordered my usual size but they were too small for me. They are pretty wide though. After walking around in them for awhile I can see why everyone recommends these shoes. They are very comfortable! The wide cushions relieves a lot of pressure from your feet which makes walking longer easier. The support of the shoes are excellent. I do, however wish the design was different. I don't think they are the most stylish shoes out there. But if you choose comfort over style, these are the right shoes for you!

Too narrow!!

I was so excited to receive my new Launch. It's the only shoe that has worked for me since I started running 6 years ago. I absolutely loved the amethyst color. Unfortunately, these are far to narrow to wear. I normally receive my shoes in the mail and wear them running the same day. These never made it out of my house. I wore for about 5-10 minutes and my feet were screaming because they were so narrow. I tried to go to my local mall to try on the wide or a bigger size, but no one carries Launch. I'm sad to return the beautiful amethyst colored shoes, and I'm going to try ordering them in wide. But disappointed that the wise only come in black :(

My Staple Shoe

I have high arches and a neutral gait and I love the effortless support that this shoe gives. I have tried other models/brands but always end up coming back to the Launch. I have learned that I'm not a fan of super cushy so I love the straight shooting approach of the Launch. It's light weight and secure feeling - so once the shoe is on you really don't think about it again. I appreciate the quick transitions and the toe box - which, consistent with the overall feel of the shoe - is not too big and not too narrow - the perfect little hug. It's my staple shoe and I'm SO freaking glad they've kept this model throughout the years!

Great shoes for a walker

I'm not a runner, I'm a walker, but because my feet are very flat and I have plantar faciitis, I am more comfortable wearing running shoes. Also, I have orthotics to put in my shoes which means I need a shoe that I can pull out the regular insole so I can put in my orthotic. Brooks Launch 11 is one of the few shoes that fit my needs. The shoe also snuggs my foot so that it doesn't slide around and the back of the shoe is high enough so that my heel doesn't slid up when I walk. Long answer to a short question, but I spend a lot of time searching for athletic shoes that I can wear. Please don't stop making them!

More narrow, no arch support, caused internal foot pain

Launch is my shoe. In the past, I could order them size 8 same as always, slide my foot right in and it felt like it was made for me. These new ones feel like they have no arch support, though whatsoever, and though they didn’t feel super comfortable at first I thought maybe they needed breaking in, so I wore them for a few hours today not running in them, but just Walking around, and my foot felt cramped, and even started to feel like it was going numb because the shoe was maybe too narrow? I don’t know. I’ll wear them again and see if they get better. If not, I’ll have to send them back. I’m afraid.

If you think your feet are slightly wide, get a wide. If you typically wear a wide, these might not work.

If your feet are even slightly wider than normal, go with the wide. I have never worn wide shoes in my life (casual or running) and always buy my running shoes one full size bigger than my dress shoes. Based upon the reviews I ordered a full size bigger and in a wide. Honestly they still feel snug but comfortable. It is a bit of a bummer because I would have liked one of the more fun colors but they will be full of mud and slop from winter / spring running so I guess it doesn’t matter. If Brooks is going to continue to make shoes so narrow, I hope they add more colors. I go back the Ravenna days and loved those shoes. These feel like my previous Launch shoes which work but not perfect.

Brooks! What have you done with my Launch?!

Oh gosh. This is definitely not the Launch I have worn and loved since the first version. The toe box is narrow, the whole shoe is stiff and feels heavier (what is the weight, btw? Not in the specs). I was aware that I was wearing NEW SHOES on my entire run, which I have never experienced with Launch before. They were always such a great light fast shoe for light runners and I have run marathons in them for years. This is NOT the same shoe. Side by side compares with the Launch 10 , you wouldn’t even think it’s the same shoe. So so disappointing. Glad I still have a stash of the 10s.😩
