Teva Women's Hurricane XLT2 Sandal

Alright so these are amazing for a long time I thought they were a granny sandle but chile....wow ...i was wrong!!!! These are so comforting and comfortable. I brought them to go to Disney for the first. Was one of thee best decisions for the trip wow. Brought my sneakers just in case did NOT need them. Would have love to have know the Hurricane Verge was out because they look like they have more cushion where I wanted it in places. However it is fine still a great buy and they have a customer for life. Already have the verge in my cart. Do wish I can get a discount but still worth every penny. Invest in yourself always. I have always loved Teva, the Terra are my current fave but wanted something with a more substantial sole for hiking. I returned my hurricane shoes after wearing them around the house for just an hour. The inner strap by the heel sits very wrong and feels irritating right away. And the front strap was not even tight and somehow bruised the top of my foot near the traingle. I also had hoped for better arch support, the shoe is cushioned nicely but the shoe arch didn't even touch my foot and I have very average arches. I wanted to love these, they were a great thought and looked great also, unfortunately were not what I had hoped for.

I bought these last summer for wearing and fell in love with them. When early fall hit in September, I wore them to work everyday because they are SO comfortable. I am on my feet all day, moving around, as an art teacher, so I need shoes that are supportive, comfortable and provide lasting comfort for constant movement. I like that they come in so many colors too, they look great with black leggings or with shorts, can be dressed up or dressed down. Also, they are easy to clean if you get them dirty while doing yardwork. I am buying my second pair in all black so they are a little dressier for work. This is definitely a shoe I will buy again and again.

I bought some Tevas back in 2017, for the first time since the early 1990's. Those shoes are still in great condition, even though I lived in them during the last 5 summers. However, they're just a little dated/out of style. Enter - the Hurricane XLT 2 sandals in a color-way that's so completely different from my 2017 sandals - and ta-da! I'm finally at least a little more on-trend. I wasn't sure if these would be as comfortable as my others, but they are! I can (and have) walk for miles in these, I've taken them kayaking, and will be living in these again this summer. Truly adore all Tevas. I might need to get another pair just to have another look....

i originally had the "universal" teva sandal as a water sandal. they were so comfortable and i wore them to bits. when it was time to switch over, i decided to get the hurricane 2 for a more supportive and longer lasting footbed. i do not regret switching over. these are more comfortable than the basic "universal" and the sole is more like a hiking sole. i wear them everywhere, water and outdoor activities. the shoe can be a bit bulky looking but i'll take that over poor foot support. the color options are so cute as well! additionally, i really appreciate the back of the foot velcro strap. i have really narrow heels so it's nice to adjust the shoe in a variety of ways!

I recently had an accident. Broke my ankle and crushed my big toe. Have a plate and 6 screws in my ankle and a plate in my big toe. 8 weeks non weight bearing non can ditch the boot and start walking with a brace on my ankle. Still swelling so my left foot is bigger thank my right foot at the moment. Needed something with arch support, adjustable straps, comfortable and attractive that would fit both feet. I purchased my normal size. Fits my healthy foot and ankle and the busted up foot and ankle. Very comfortable with good support. Love the adjustable straps. Lightweight with a durable sole. I will continue to wear these after I am healed and I will purchase them in other colors as well.

I bought these for an upcoming trip to wear and hopefully last a few years. The colors are cute and the sandals seem sturdy. However, at first the top triangle piece dug into my little toe which was very uncomfortable. I adjusted the straps to see if that would help but it didn't. I decided to give them a chance and wear them around my house for a few hours. Over time they got more comfortable and the part that dug into my toe didn't anymore. I think they just need some time to adapt to your foot and losen up a bit. Hopefully they stay this way! Otherwise fit true to size and are cute!!

I have been wearing these around my house to break them in for an upcoming trip. My experience appears to be atypical as I find these sandals to be extremely uncomfortable. The triangle digs into my next to last toe on each foot, regardless of how I adjust the strap. Also, the heel strap feels low, and the strap that goes around the front of my foot feels a bit high. I have adjusted them numerous ways and can't get the proper balance. I will say that I bought this exact shoe in the equivalent Men's size and found them to be very comfortable. There was no digging in, and all straps fit my foot well. Perhaps my foot shape is to blame, but I was really disappointed with these as I wanted to love them!
