Steve Madden Women's Big Schmona-J Slide Sandal

I got these sandals with the expectation that they would be a slide on version of my doc martens, but no. They’re cute, but not nearly as comfortable and left the tops of my feet in blisters, which I have never experienced getting blisters in this part of my feet before. I didn’t know if it was just me, so I had my mom walk in the as well, and she experiences the same discomfort/pressure while wearing them. It didn’t matter how loose or how tight I made these sandals. If you’re not going to be using them as a walking sandal and solely for fashion when you walk into a restaurant, then they’re great. If not, stay away. I’m now on a mission to see if doc martens make a slide on version because I’m willing to spend more money on a shoe that I know is comfortable and I can actually wear.

I bought these in a size 8. I usually take an 8. 5 in shoes and I’m between 8-8. 5 in sandals. 8 fit perfect! These shoes are So comfortable that I’d say they were just about how comfy my slippers are. They’re supportive but also feel like you’re walking on clouds! These are a must purchase! I’m going to have to try & buy another pair for my cruise!!

I purchased a size 9 because I usually wear an 8. 5 and it was too long for me so I ended up giving it to someone who wears a full size 9. The size 8 would have been too small for me. Super sad! I love the style of the slippers.

Cute sandals. At first they felt comfortable but once I wore them it was a different story. The front straps smash my little toes (even if I let them loose). The back straps cut your feet if you’re planning on walking a lot.

These are super cute so I purchased black and beige but probably won’t be wearing them when I have much walking to do. Both pairs after a short period of wearing left blisters on the top of my feet. No bueno…

Cushy sole but uncomfortable straps. I have tried adjusting the straps every which way but they still rub both of my feet in different place. It's almost like they aren't made symmetrically.

They’re so cute but I had blisters on both sides and on top of my feet after 2 hours of use. I tried loosening and tightening the straps but they’re just unwearable.
