Frye & Co. Women's Miranda 14 Tall Boot

If you want the banana color, these are a great alternative to the leather Frye Campus boot. They are not a solid color yellow, they have a bit of variance, so they do resemble the actual leather ones. I ordered the wide calf as my calves are 15.5 " in circumference. The wide calf on these babies leaves room but not too much. I am a true size 8 with an average width foot and these fit. The right boot fit MUCH tighter than the left and since these are not leather, I knew I would not be able to stretch it out. I ultimately ended up returning them. Bottom line: if you want a more budget friendly, wide calf version, try them!

Absolutely gorgeous boot. Obsessed with the look and color. However I'm a size 9 and bought the size 9 and it's extremely narrow on the top of the foot and very rigid material. I thought I would break them in but that never happened and instead ended up with a swollen right foot for 2 weeks because it's just so tight on the top of my foot and now Im too scared to wear them and can't return them. I would size up a full size if you plan on wearing these during winter with thick socks so the same doesn't happen to you! I am 5'4", 170lbs for reference.

Love these! I was in the store returning another pair of tall boots that I ordered online that didn't work out and my eyes laid on these and was so excited to see the Wide Calf sizing. I am usually disappointed with boots...even ones that say wide calf....but I put these on and was so excited that they fit! My calves measure right at 16.5 inches for reference. I am usually a size 8-8.5 and went with the 8.5 wide calf so I can wear thicker socks with them. Loved them so much, I bought them in 2 colors.

It’s great that these are an alternative to Frye’s Miranda and Kate Pull On boots for a much cheaper price but since these are synthetic made, there won’t be any chance for your foot to mold onto them neither any stretching happening. I am a solid 6.5 and when I tried on my usual size the footbed feel was almost perfect except that the length of the footbed was 1/2 inch bigger making it feel as if i’m walking in a size 7, so I sized down to 6 and boy let me tell you how painful it was, though the length of the footbed was good but the whole entire feel of these boots was awfully painful, meaning the squeezing of your foot was unbearable and not to mention the fact of just getting them on at first was already a real struggle and i’m naturally narrow footed. Wanted to really like these so much but unfortunately it’s going back.

Overall the quality and style of the boot is exactly what I was looking for, but the sizing is odd! I ordered my regular size first and then felt like it was squeezing my feet so I went up a half size and still felt like it was too tight. I have pretty average width feet and usually I don’t have an issue but these were too narrow and I didn’t feel confident that it would be resolved even going up another half size.

I tried these on in store to get the size right. In flats/loafers I wear a 7-7.5, but I got these in an 8. I purchased the tan pair in store then ordered the green that night because I couldn’t stop thinking about the color. It’s a deep rich green, almost black. The boots are very comfy and also come in a wide calf. The price is great for Frye. I can’t recommend these enough!

Boots are well made, for me they are snugged around the arch or bridge of foot. I couldn't wear with socks, okay with panty hose. The heel makes noise. soft material, yellow is more pale mustard and can go with anything. I ordered the wide calf and they have an inch of space which helps look better overall for thick legs

These are the boots that I’ve been looking for, for years! Square toe, slight heel, and you can dress up or down. I had to buy two colors =>, as I rotate out older boots I no longer use. The toe box is narrow, so if you have wider toes, size up. I kept my regular 6.5, and it’s snug but not uncomfortable.
