Birkenstock Women's Arizona Big Buckle Sandal

Beautiful Sandal! Leather is great quality and the gold buckle is nice character. Like any new shoe, have to break in for comfort.

I wanted to like these, and I gave them a chance, I really did. Since buying them, I wear them on a weekly basis, usually just around the house, because I keep telling myself I'm breaking them in. Then, when I went to leave this review, I realized I bought them a full year and a half ago. They should absolutely be broken in my now lol. But they still give me blisters on my outer arches, and that's just from wearing them for brief periods of time. I loved my regular Birks. They were easy to break in, and once they were they felt like a second skin. But I'm a major sucker for gold accents, so I decided to give these a try. Swing and a miss. Going back to my regular Gizehs and Arizonas.

Birkenstocks have been for many years my go to sandals for comfort. At one time I thought that I would never wear a pair as nothing appealed to me. But one evening on a shopping channel I took a chance! Since then I’ve owned a number of pairs. I wand to update my wardrobe so I chose one with the big buckles but kept to a basic color of tan. The tan color and gold buckles go very good together. I also plan to wear these a long time, as all my other Birks don’t seem to wear out, so I purchased the oiled leather. I’m very pleased with the over all look and plan to use them for a lot of years!

They take some getting used to as they are my first pair of Berks. I love the black and silver together.

I’ve been eyeing these for a while now and finally bit the bullet. While they are not as comfortable as my EVA Arizona sandals, I still find them very comfortable. Due to the material, the EVA is more cushioned and I was able to spend a day walking around Epcot. There’s no way I could do that with these, as the sole is quite firm. However, this isn’t my goal with these shoes anyways. They’re perfect for regular summer wear and look elevated from the normal Birks. I’m a 6.5 and wear a 36 in these.

This is my 5th pair of Birkenstocks over the course of a few years. Every year I add a different style to my shoe wardrobe. I was very excited to purchase these with the big buckle. However, upon receiving them you were able to see the glue all over them. To the point that on the inside of one sandal there are some pointy pieces sticking out. Making very uncomfortable and irritating to the inner sole of my foot. Honestly, for the big price tag and reputation Birkenstock has I am doubtful on keeping them. Hope others have better luck. Because the sandals are beautiful especially in the Cognac color. The fit is narrow and a bit smaller in length than the original Arizona sandal but nothing crazy. Did my true size from previous Birkenstocks bc if I were to go up a size it would look too big.

Style: Such a great, classic, neutral sandal. I've been trying to buy more timeless, well-made pieces and I feel like it's a win! Sizing: I got the size 10 narrow and still found that I had some wiggle room on the sides, even after tightening the buckles. So glad I got the narrow. I am hoping that they will continue to conform to my foot. The length is definitely true-to-size for me. Love the big buckles! I feel like it adds a little extra to an already great sandal.
